Why Macbeth is jealous

Macbeth is jealous of Duncan king of Scotland. Macbeth wants to be king so he is willing to kill the king when he is sleeping and he is going to blame it on Duncan's children. And he may not get to be king sins he is 4 in line to be king and if Duncan's  children have children he will be knocked down the line even more. later we find out that Macbeth did murder Duncan but he feels like he is in despair and full of guilt like his mind is twisted.

I have felt jealous before when some one had a object which was better than mine. (JH)
